DURATEC
Duratec
is an innovative compressed air and inert gas distribution
system designed to be absolutely leak-proof, installed quickly
and easily and maintained cost effectively.
As a result, Duratec saves time and money.
Duratec�s
unique composite structure incorporates a rigid yet flexible
aluminum core, permanently bonded to layers of durable high
density polyethylene (HDPE) plastic. HDPE on the inner and
outer layers provides superior corrosion resistance against
aggressive manufacturing environments while eliminating any
internal scaling and corrosion associated with traditional
metal compressed air pipes. The
unique combination of metal and plastics creates a flexible
yet rigid pipe that will not sag. Its long, lightweight coils cut down on the number of
potential leak points in a compressed air system.
And once bent, Duratec will main its shape, greatly
reducing the number of fittings required.
Duratec
fittings are supplied in tough nickel plated brass or
stainless steel and utilize unique double o-ring seals to
ensure long term joint integrity. These mechanical connections
require no special tools or training and can be installed in
less than 1 minute.
Duratec
meets all the necessary ASME Codes; OHSA safety standards;
NSF, CSA, ANSI/ASTM standards and is FDA Compliant.
The fittings also carry a national pressure vessel
CRN0A02020.2C. Duratec
may be used for a wide variety of applications ranging from
Plant air and inert gas distribution to valve actuation and CO2
delivery for carbonated beverages.
